Founder + Creative Director
Conga Design was founded by Katerina Peña. Katerina is an expert creative director and entrepreneur.
Katerina Peña started her design career in Atlanta, GA, working with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups. After 3 years working with companies like Kimberly-Clark and McKesson and firms like Alston & Bird, KPMG and Kilpatrick Townsend, Katerina moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts to work with tech heavyweights in Boston. She has worked with VMware, DellEMC, Veridium, and Comcast Business to enhance their brand and highlight their products.
Katerina’s clients now include nonprofits, healthcare providers, food corporations, boutiques, and technology companies located across the country in Boston, Atlanta, Alabama, Houston and San Antonio. She delivers the highest caliber results thanks to a relentless work ethic, commitment to collaboration and an indefatigable, can-do attitude.
Ian Crowley
Digital Specialist Director
Ian Crowley is a web developer and digital strategist with 12+ years of experience working for VC-backed startups, e-commerce companies, and non-profits. Ian has worked with over 50 organizations, executing on a wide variety of projects including front-end web development (HTML/CSS/JS), traffic acquisition, SEO, marketing automation, CRM administration, e-mail marketing, analytics dashboarding, e-commerce consulting, content management, and video editing.
Ian became invested in business’s digital space when he recognizing the difficult time small businesses and startups had in managing their digital marketing and e-commerce technology. Since, he has become an expert on dozens of web technologies and helped clients drive millions of dollars of business through their websites.
Christopher Vela
Animator
Christopher is a designer, animator, and illustrator. He has had the pleasure of working with some talented people and has enjoyed helping clients and studios create something unique and special for their projects.
His career started in 3D, but then evolved over time once he was introduced to the world of motion graphics and style frames. Since then, he has continued working on his craft and continually trying to push himself to come up with new ways to solve creative problems.
Dorothy Griffith
Senior Copywriter & Strategist
Dorothy Peña is a seasoned communications professional with experience in branded content tactics that help foster employee engagement, increase brand awareness, and support business needs. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Dorothy worked in government relations in Washington, D.C., before moving to San Antonio, Texas, where she currently supports a variety of brands in executing strategic corporate communications efforts, copywriting, and social media content.
Ashley Jennis
Social Media Strategist
With a passion for social media, Ashley currently oversees social media paid and organic; helping to grow brands, engage customers, and generate leads. She also partners with content creators to develop the social media business strategy.
Alyssa Rios
Junior Designer
Alyssa is a talented and passionate junior graphic designer with a strong creative flair and a keen eye for detail. With a background in a variety of multimedia art disciplines and a deep understanding of design principles, she delivers compelling and visually striking designs that make an impact and tell a story. She brings creativity, enthusiasm, and work ethic to the table in abundance.
Alyssa started her creative journey with a paintbrush before transitioning to graphic design during college. Since then, she's continued to perfect her craft and learn new skills to create visually impactful designs that leave a lasting impression.
